"Early Morning Whispering Hues"  What can I say but, how interesting!  I don't know what possessed me to do such a thing!  Well, actually I do!  Total and complete curiosity about how in the world could a person possibly capture such beauty with paint!?!?  I put my mind in the frame of I'm just studying color, not making a painting. . . and before I knew it my 60 minute timer went off, and like my kiddos used to tell me at the sound of that buzzer, "brushes down momma!"  And I went in to the house and had my 1st cup of coffee and got on with my day.

This piece was painted from the inside of my studio window looking down, north over the marsh in early morning light.
